The Rad was founded by Captain Rad, Dr. Justice, and Johnny Amazing. These awesome dudes met through some unexplainable events -most likely some wicked sweet outer space type events- and had a magnificent idea, the idea to start a band. But not just any band, no way, they formed a band that gathered up awesomeness like pirate treasure that was buried by pirates many moons ago after the pirates stole it from the rich sailors on their fancy ships, then when the pirates were stealing the treasure, the rightful owners tried to take it back, but the pirates fought them with swords and violence, and got away like pirates always do because pirates can only be stopped by robots, and they didn't have robots in the olden days. These handsome guys had the idea to start a band so awesomely magnificent that only the brightest minds on the planet (and out in space too) would be able to comprehend the goodness. And what better name for such an awesomely rad band than, The Rad? There is no better name than The Rad, there just isn't my fine young friends.
